Principal Consultant
She combines a strong understanding of government processes with a thoughtful, strategic approach to communication and problem solving.
Rhiannon spent eight years as a Ministerial Adviser in Victoria, working across a range of portfolios including Agriculture, Regional Development, Roads and Road Safety, Boating and Fishing, Innovation, the Digital Economy and Medical Research. This gave her a detailed understanding of how policy is developed and the political considerations that shape decision-making.
Rhiannon is particularly effective at translating complex ideas into practical, persuasive proposals. She supports clients to clarify their message, identify the right audience and timing, and raise the visibility of their issues.
Before working in government, Rhiannon led major research projects at the Australian Council of Trade Unions. Her work included the ‘Working Australia Census,’ one of the most comprehensive studies of Australian workers ever undertaken.
She is skilled at helping organisations engage meaningfully with government, build constructive relationships and develop strategies that influence outcomes. Her approach is grounded in research and a clear understanding of the policy environment, with a strong ability to bring together diverse stakeholder perspectives.
Above all, she is a practical problem solver who works closely with clients to navigate policy, communications or political challenges with insight and precision. Her advice reflects both the complexity of the issue and the realities of the environment in which it must be resolved.
