Principal Consultant
He advises public and private sector organisations on how to navigate government processes, manage risk and communicate effectively in complex policy environments.
Chris has provided strategic advice to senior State Government ministers, giving him a strong understanding of how decisions are made and the competing pressures faced by ministers and senior officials. He helps clients position their priorities in ways that resonate with decision-makers and align with broader policy objectives.
Chris has also worked closely with local governments to ensure their priorities were reflected in a multi-billion-dollar federal infrastructure and industry package.
He served as Chief of Staff to ministers responsible for local government, liquor and gaming, and transport, and also advised on policy areas including energy, justice and the environment. This broad portfolio experience informs his practical, well-rounded approach to engagement.
At The Agenda Group, Chris has worked with clients across sectors such as energy, health, agriculture, tourism, sport and local government. He supports organisations to clarify their objectives, understand the policy landscape and pursue outcomes that are realistic, timely and in the public interest.
One example of his work involved helping a multinational tourism operator navigate public concerns around housing affordability. The approach balanced community expectations with commercial needs and was ultimately seen as a positive resolution by all parties.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Charles Sturt University.
