Ryan is a communications, advocacy and stakeholder engagement specialist. He served for almost a decade as the Director of Communications at the Victorian Council of Social Service, the peak body for Victoria’s social and community sector.

He has experience in message development, designing and executing public campaigns, managing advocacy coalitions, engaging with media and both developing and promoting policy positions. Previously, Ryan worked in senior roles at ABC News and The Project, and in research promotion at the University of Melbourne.

Ryan can assist clients on strategic communications matters, including reputational issues and crisis management, media engagement, message framing and both public and government facing advocacy.

Ryan holds a Batchelor of Arts (Journalism) with Distinction from RMIT University.
