Catherine has extensive experience in government relations and public affairs with a focus on communicating complex ideas and forming and delivering policy outcomes.
Catherine provides clients with policy development and vetting services ranging from research, submission and document preparation, though to policy and stakeholder stress testing.
Catherine also maps out and helps clients navigate decision making processes within government.
For more than 20 years, Catherine has worked in and with government as a consultant, adviser and government relations specialist.
She was an adviser in the Howard Government in the wide-ranging industry, science and resources portfolio, where she was responsible for the policy development for a variety of industry sectors. This role also provided valuable insight into the operations of the Australian Senate.
Since returning to the private sector, Catherine was Head of Government Affairs & Policy for GlaxoSmithKline Australia and also had extensive policy and regional experience in Europe. In addition, she was recently General Manager, Government and Public Affairs at Medibank.
Catherine has extensive experience in health and health-policy issues relating to investment decisions including in research and development, government regulation and policy development as well as in public affairs and communications.
Catherine is a board member of Melbourne City Mission and sits on the Medicines Australia Advisory Council.
